Skills Assessments (Boys: Grades 3-4)

Event Description

Player Assessments for Grades 3/4 will be held on Friday, March 12th from 5:30pm to Sunset on the Turf (Field 12) at the Great Valley Middle School.

Information on assessments:

• Our program is a developmental program. We do not have tryouts or cuts.
• No past playing experience required to play for our Program
• Assessments provide our coaching staff the opportunity to assess your son’s basic lacrosse skills through a series of drills and simulated game play.
• This will ensure your son’s alignment to a team within his Grade level grouping that will build on his strengths, allow him to learn and develop in a safe practice and game setting.

Equipment requirements for assessments:

• Helmet with chin strap
• Standard size stick- (short or long pole)
• Chest pad, elbow pads, gloves
• *Goalies must have the new SEI certified Chest protector
• Mouthguard (always good to have a back-up too!)
• Mask, Gaiter or Helmet Facemask Shield
• Pinnie Jersey with a number on it
• Personal water bottle

COVID Protocols | TeamSnap Health Check:

• A TeamSnap invitation to “Join” your son’s group for assessments will be sent to the parent email used for registration (Please keep an eye out!)
• Parents will be required to complete the Health Check through the TeamSnap App for their son within 2 hours of the start time of the assessment event scheduled
• No players will be permitted on the turf without completing the TeamSnap Health Check
• Players are required to wear masks/gaiters or shields at all times
• Social distancing guidelines will be enforced by coaches on sidelines
