Skills Assessments (Girls: Grades 5-6)

Event Description

Player Assessments for Grades 5/6 will be held on the Turf (Field 12) at the Great Valley Middle School on:

• Saturday, March 13th from 2:00pm – 3:30pm 

Information on assessments:

• Our program is a developmental program. We do not have tryouts or cuts.
• No past playing experience required to play for our Program
• Assessments provide our coaching staff the opportunity to assess your daughter’s basic lacrosse skills through a series of drills and simulated game play.
• This will ensure your daughter’s alignment to a team within her Grade level grouping (5/6) that will build on her strengths, allow her to learn and develop in a safe practice and game setting.

Equipment requirements for assessments:

• Girls lacrosse stick. NO fiddle sticks or boys lacrosse sticks
• Girls lacrosse goggles. Please be sure you have goggles with the SEI stamp. Click here to see a full list of approved goggles
• Mouthguard
• Cleats
• Two (2) COVID-19 masks
• Personal water bottle

COVID Protocols | TeamSnap Health Check:

• A TeamSnap invitation to “Join” your daughter’s group for assessments will be sent to the parent email used for registration (Please keep an eye out!)
• Parents will be required to complete the Health Check through the TeamSnap App for their daughter within 2 hours of the start time of the assessment event scheduled
• No players will be permitted on the turf without completing the TeamSnap Health Check
• Players are required to wear masks at all times
• Social distancing guidelines will be enforced by coaches on sidelines
